About the Awards
The Volunteering Awards are an opportunity to thank Victoria’s volunteers. Victoria’s volunteers make incredible contributions to our state and local communities.
The Victorian Government is proud to partner with Volunteering Victoria to celebrate Victorian volunteers and volunteer organisations.

You can nominate a volunteer or organisation by completing the online nomination form.

Award categories
You can nominate individual volunteers in 4 categories:
- Young Volunteer: for volunteers who are 25 years and under.
- Volunteer Commitment: for dedicated, passionate volunteers.
- Volunteer Leadership: for volunteers who lead, organise and inspire others.
- Volunteer Impact: for volunteer innovators and hard workers.
You can nominate volunteer organisations in 4 categories:
- Inclusive Volunteering: for organisations that show diversity and inclusion.
- Volunteering Partnerships: for organisations that work well with others. This may be with other groups, businesses, or the community.
- Volunteering Innovation: for organisations that are innovative and adaptable.
- Grassroots Volunteering: for small organisations making a big difference.
