The Victorian Government is proud to partner with Volunteering Victoria for the 2024 Volunteering Awards.
The Volunteering Awards are a chance to celebrate the achievements of Victoria's outstanding volunteers.
This year's winners showcase the many ways volunteers and organisations can make a positive impact.
Winners of the individual awards include:
- Volunteer of the Year – Dame Elisabeth Murdoch Award: Cherie McLean
- Volunteer Commitment Award: Cherie Mclean
- Volunteer Impact Award: Brenton Ponza
- Volunteer Leadership Award: Arfa Sarfaraz
- Young Volunteer Award: Tyrese Walsh.
Winners of the organisation awards include:
- Volunteering Excellence – Volunteer Involving Organisation of the Year: Gather My Crew
- Inclusive Volunteering Award: Special Olympics Melbourne Inner East (MIE)
- Volunteering Partnerships Award: Australian Working Group for International Student Employability Inc (VicWISE)
- Volunteering Innovation Award: Gather My Crew
- Grassroots Volunteering Award: Tribe Monbulk Youth Inc.
