The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing offers a number of career opportunities, located both in metropolitan Melbourne and rural Victoria. We have roles available from entry level to executive officer.

Other careers in the department
The department has career opportunities in policy development and project management, contract management and corporate services, such as information technology, accounting, law, human resources, communications, financial analysis and administration. These roles support the day-to-day running of the department and in furthering the departments' goal of Victoria becoming fairer and safer for all.
COVID-19 vaccination
The department strongly recommends (but does not mandate) that employees maintain their COVID-19 vaccination status in accordance with current ATAGI (Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation) advise given their individual circumstances. As of June 2023, DFFH does not require evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status.
