Victoria's LGBTIQA+ strategy 2022–32: Annual update 2023-24 released!

The Victorian Government is excited to share the progress we’ve made in the second year of delivering Pride in our future: Victoria's LGBTIQA+ strategy 2022–32 through their annual update.
21 November 2024

The annual update highlights progress across the strategy’s four priority areas, programs and flagship investments.

Featured in the annual update are five powerful case studies including:

  • Pride in Place offers LGBTQIA+ people experiencing or at risk of homelessness a safe and inclusive space to find housing and connect with support services. Pride in Place transformed Amelia’s life after she fled violence and unsafe living conditions. With their help, Amelia found emergency housing, a long-term lease, counselling, and community connections.
  • QHub provides mental health and wellbeing services for LGBTIQA+ young people and their families. QHub is offering Riley, 15, a safe peer space to explore their gender and support their mental health, including with activities like badge-making.

In the annual update you can read Amelia’s and Riley’s full stories.
