The Veterans Capital Works and Restoring Community War Memorials and Avenues of Honour grant programs recognise the importance of safe and functional spaces where veterans and their communities can come together to connect, share knowledge, and honour Australia’s wartime and peacekeeping history.
Veterans Capital Works
20 organisations will share in more than $690,000 through the Veterans Capital Works grant program.
Grant recipients will use the funding to upgrade and improve local facilities for veterans, their families and communities.
Funded projects vary from solar and electrical upgrades to improvements to building safety and accessibility.

Restoring Community War Memorials and Avenues of Honour
14 organisations will receive funding through the Restoring Community War Memorials and Avenues of Honour grant program, sharing in $200,000.
Funded community groups will restore and update community war memorials, honour rolls and avenues of honour to better reflect veteran service in the community and improve their condition and preservation.
Funded projects include conservation assessments, accessibility upgrades and repairs and cleaning.
