We are proud to announce applications are now open for two grant programs supporting and commemorating Victoria's veterans and their service.
The programs help Victorians honour veterans’ contributions and provide safe, practical spaces for veterans and their families to meet, find support, and strengthen community connections.
Restoring Community War Memorials and Avenues of Honour
Up to $30,000 is available to help ex-service and community organisations conserve, maintain or update community war memorials, honour rolls and avenues of honour.

Veterans Capital Works
Grants between $5,000 and $50,000 are available for community organisations to improve the facilities they use to deliver services to veterans, their families and communities.
Funded projects should be delivered between 1 July 2025 and 30 June 2026.

This one-hour session will cover:
- purpose of each grant program
- eligibility and arranging an auspice for non-incorporated organisations
- difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2 funding available under Restoring Community War Memorials and Avenues of Honour
- explanation on the importance of heritage principles and methodologies
- requirements and types of projects funded under Veterans Capital Works
- required documentation and tips
