Up to $120,000 of funding is available to deliver safe, youth-friendly events through the FReeZA 2025-27 grant program.
Since 1997, the FReeZA grant program has nurtured young people’s creativity by funding eligible groups to deliver safe, youth-friendly events for young Victorians aged 12-25.
Applicants can apply for funding under one of three funding levels over three years dependent on attendance expectations:
- Level 1: Up to $60,000 over three years
- Level 2: Up to $90,000 over three years
- Level 3: Up to $120,000 over three years
Developed in partnership with young people and youth organisations, the funding initiative gives young people the opportunity to plan and participate in music, cultural and recreational events in their local community. It further contributes to Victoria’s vibrant arts sector by providing performance opportunities for emerging artists.
Events need to reflect the diverse needs and interests of young people in their local area.
Applications from First Nations-led and multicultural groups are strongly encouraged.
Applications open Monday, 26 August 2024 and close Monday, 30 September 2024.
