The Victorian Government is helping secondary school students reach their full potential, knowing that when young Victorian thrive, so do our schools, workplaces and communities. As part of the 2025-26 funding round, we are proud to announce 47 organisations across the state have received Future Ready (formerly Advance) grants of between $24,000 and $56,000 over two years, and up to $168,000 over two years for organisations that deliver programs in multiple schools.
The funded groups will deliver practical activities including work-placements and registered training courses in 79 schools, creating hands-on learning opportunities for students in years 7 to 12 across the state.
Funded projects include:
• Delivering culturally appropriate tutoring support for students from refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds.
• Establishing a safe, practical and free rural study hub for rural and remote students
• Engaging students in designing and building resources for small country schools, Indigenous gardens and community organisations.
By prioritising student needs and providing funding where it’s needed most, Future Ready will support more students from all corners of Victoria to build long-term life and employment skills, participate in their communities, and be the best they can be.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to Advance over the years. We look forward to an exciting new chapter of Future Ready projects.
