As a member of the Taskforce or its working groups, you will have the opportunity to actively shape policies, initiatives, and strategies that foster equality, inclusion, human rights and social justice for LGBTIQ+ individuals in Victoria.
As we deliver on the Pride in our future: Victoria’s LGBTIQ+ strategy 2022-32, these roles will be critical to improving equality in Victoria.
We are dedicated to ensuring the rich diversity of Victoria is reflected in the members to the Taskforce and working groups and strongly encourage applications from LGBTIQ+ people who also identify as being:
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
- multicultural or multifaith
- a person with disability
- from a regional or rural area
- from a new and emerging community.
Expressions of interest can be submitted until 13 August 2023.
Following the EOI process, shortlisted candidates will then be invited to take part in a formal interview and reference check process.
