The Family Violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management Framework (MARAM) is a framework for services to identify, assess and manage the risk of family violence.
The week aims to increase awareness and understanding of MARAM and information sharing in practice.
This year’s theme focuses on the unique voices of children and young people. It highlights the need to listen to children and young people’s experiences of family violence, and the family violence system.
Attendees will hear from victim survivors, practitioners and service providers. They will talk about working with and hearing from children and young people in their own right.
The week will include online seminars for the Victorian family violence sector, with key themes including:
- Direct engagement being central to supporting children and young people as victim survivors in their own right
- Wellbeing and family violence being interconnected – the need to consider both in engagement to ensure safety and recovery
